David Guy Rucker's Obituary
David Guy Rucker age 59 passed away peacefully June 28th 2020.
He was born May 30th 1961 in Vancouver, Washington. He was a lifelong Tacoma resident, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1978, and spent most of his career in the glass industry , primarily at ACI and St.Gobain.
Dave loved his friends and family and had a wonderful sense of humor. Truly his heart was as big as he was, and he mentioned his loved ones, old and new often, and had many wonderful memories of shared good times.
Dave enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting, and later a bit of travelling if the plane ride wasn't too long (those long legs!) And Las Vegas and Laughlin were favored destinations.
He had 4 footed friends he adored, especially the Boxers, and undoubtedly was greeted by them on the rainbow bridge.
Dave is survived by his wife, Dana, son David, mother Faith, brothers Brian Rucker, and Kevin Rucker (Laura).
It was Dave's wish to have his ashes placed on Chinook pass with those of his beloved father, and no formal services are planned at this time.
A special thank you to his family and friends, and online game friends who brightened his last few years, you mattered more than you will ever know.
Death is more universal than life;
everyone dies, but not everyone lives.
Daves life was a life well lived.
