David C. Moseley's Obituary
David Clay Moseley was born on May 27th, 1992 in Seattle, Washington. He was the son of Clay Moseley (deceased) and Mary Moseley. David graduated from Graham-Kapowsin High School in 2010, in Graham Washington. He furthered his education by attending the University of Washington Tacoma where he received his BA degree in Environmental Studies and minored in Asian Studies.
David started teaching himself Japanese at the age of 13 years old. In his free time, he read up on other cultures and learned new languages. He was fluent in Japanese, could read and write
Chinese, and also spoke a little French. His goals were to solve environmental issues that were a problem for future generations. While David was with us he wanted to travel the world so he could understand economic, political, social, and environmental issues in other countries. He enjoyed learning as much as he possibly could and always taught others new knowledge he had learned. He believed that you had one chance in life and you have to make it the best experience possible. His motto: Do what you can, while you can!
One of David’s many passions was to become a Culinary Chef; he loved creating and cooking meals for his family and friends. He also enjoyed taekwondo, archery, anime, and various genres of music. He served in the role of Vice President for the Static Shock, Comic and Manga Coalition (CMC), formerly known as the Justice League International at University of Washington Tacoma. He attended PAX and Comic Con on a yearly basis and would always come home with new “swag” and amazing stories he had shared with his friends.
David will be truly missed by all of his family and friends. Leaving behind to cherish his many memories are his mother Mary Moseley, siblings; John, Marla, and Meagan, his Nieces and Nephews; Brian, Damari, Zaida, Quincy, and Taylor. His Grandmother Dolly Fonder; plus a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
