David George Doust's Obituary
In Memoriam of David George Vodicka (Doust) David George Vodicka (Doust) was born in Great Falls, Montana May 20th, 1954, and passed away March 4th, 2009 at his home in University Place, Washington. David's family moved from Great Falls Montana to Midland, Washington in 1966. He attended Franklin Pierce High School and then Woodrow Wilson High School, graduating in 1972. David had a wonderful singing voice and could imitate Elvis convincingly. David had many vocations throughout his life, most of them centering on people. David was a successful hairdresser, owning his own salon for years. He spent time driving a cab, and most recently he worked with adult disabled persons. David was preceded in death by his mother Gwinetth Vodicka (Stanley) and stepfather William Edward Doust. He is survived by his father Dr. Harvey G. Vodicka, sisters Denise, Deborah (Jon), Belinda, Cindy, Libbi; nieces Kristin, Jenna, Dionne, Christina; nephews Telly, Cole, Brandon, Nicholas, Brogan; his life partner June Ashbaugh, and friends Ryan, Lynn, Clay, Cheri, and Dane. We would like to thank all the people who have been a part of David's life and assisted during his illness. Remembrances can be made in David's name to the American Cancer Society.
