Dorothy Gibson
David was my first love and I will always have a special place in my heart for him. Our marriage began on Memorial Day - May 31, 1971 - and continued to grow. He gave me the most beautiful daughters anyone could have. Christina Michelle was born when we were stationed at Ft. Hood, TX and Patricia Noelle was born in Frankfurt when we were stationed in Hanau, W. Germany. We came back to the States and were stationed at Ft. Ritchie, MD near Camp David as the girls were growing up. Our marriage ended where it began, in 1980 in Anchorage, AK, but our family continues to grow. Our girls grew to have beautiful families of their own. I was happy to see more joy in David’s life when he met and married Robin. I loved to catch up with them whenever I came to visit the girls and their families. The love we once shared continues to grow through our family with wonderful grandchildren who will always have the love and example of their grandfather to remember and build their own lives and families. Through Love we are truly blessed!
