David Leon Cowan Sr.'s Obituary
On Thursday April 27th 2017, David L Cowan (62) passed away. He is survived by his wife of nearly 39 years Faith, 2 sons David Jr and Andre, his wife Nicole, and 3 grandchildren Alissandra, David III, and Andre Jr.
He had a passion for God and shared that passion with everyone he came in contact with. He always tried to leave a lasting impression on anyone he met and always had a smile on his face. He wore his heart on his sleeve and would help anyone in need to the best of his ability.
He was a great man, husband, father, grandpa, pastor, mentor, counselor, friend. He touched so many people and he will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home of Lakewood on May 10th at 1 PM, at the Celebration of Life Building (Aspen Chapel) and he will be laid to rest following a Military ceremony with honors at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
