Donna and family...Dave inspired all of us on a number of different levels. For Julie and I, he made the difference in a marriage. Julie was raised Catholic and I, of course, had a very protestant background. Many would advise that this was not a prescription for success. However, Dave taught classes during my high school years which compared and contrasted various religions and their associated beliefs. This class provided a foundation to build upon and promote discussion between Julie and I. In the end, common ground existed because Dave promoted dialogue and was true to our God. Today, Julie and I have been married for 20+ years w/three fantastic children. Dave played a major role. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Dave's passing. Knowing he was such a man of faith, there's no doubt he's in a better place watching over everyone. I believe that some of the important lessons he taught those he knew, whether by example, or with words, will continue to follow us all for many years to come.
