Darriel Wayne Moland was born August 25, 1948 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Bennie Lee and Inez Moland. Darriel attended school in Ft. Worth, Texas at Dunbar and James E Guinn. He was a gospel singer and was a bass guitar player. He moved to Tacoma in 1978. He was a member of Church of The Living God under Pastor-Bishop Lawrence White. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, and Pepesina Moland. He leaves to cherish his memories Carlyn Lewis Moland (wife), three sisters, Patsy (Jerry) Foster, Kay Chandler and James Larry, and Pastor Erma Jean Melton. 8 children Linda Moland, Katrina Moland, Darriel W. Moland Jr., Daryl Jones (Moland), Jean Pat Kay Moland, Naisha Moland, Sarafina Moland, and Tonota Corbray. Three step children, 26 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
