Darrell Glenn Williams Sr.'s Obituary
Darrell Glenn Williams Sr. was born on June 24th, 1956 to Louise and James Williams in Queens, New York. He graduated from Aviation High School and went on to join the US Air Force shortly after. During this time he was called to ministry. He had the opportunity to preach in the Philippines, Japan, Korea, and in Tacoma, Washington at New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ. His military service took him all over the world, ultimately bringing him to the Tacoma/Seattle area where he set down his roots and planted himself permanently. He went on to work at Boeing as an Avionics technician. His love of motorcycles led him to join the Seattle Magic Wheels Motorcycle club where he served as treasurer and then as Vice President. Darrell was one of kindest people you could ever meet. He had a big heart and he always put his family and friends first. He loved to travel the world and try new things with his beautiful wife by his side.
Darrell is preceded in death by his parents James and Louise Williams. He has left to carry on his legacy his Wife Effeda, his daughter Ashley, his sons (spouses) Darrell Jr. (Kimberly),Timothy (Cindy), Andre, and Christopher. His sisters Vicky, Peggy (Harry )Donna, and Lisa. His brothers Arthur (Debra), Mark (Veronda), Maurice, and Anthony (Felecia). His beloved grandchildren Anfernee, Treylon, Zaire, Jason, and Kayla. He is also survived by a host of other close family and friends.
