Missing you a lot today Grandma.

I have sooo many memories with my Grandma. I am so proud to be her second born grandchild. She took my hand and pulled me out of the darkness many times. She taught me that no one is going to give me success. I have to take advantage of every moment with my head held high.
One time, when I was faced with a very difficult decision, I looked at my Grandma with tears in my eyes and told her I couldn't do it. So she looked at me with fire in her eyes and said, " Do you want this?" I nodded back at her. Then she said, " I can do this for you!" And then she just did it. She didn't look back.
She didn't second guess anything. I have this memory with me through all my difficult decisions now. If you want something you do everything you have to do. You just do it. This is a lesson that she taught me and I cherish it with all of my heart. My Grandma (my Grandpa as well) moved mountains for me. I will never forget it. I am a better mother, daughter, sister, and all around better person because of it. I will work hard for the rest of my life trying to be everything she sees in me. I love you Grandma!

Thanksgiving..Christmas Eve..Easter egg hunts in her backyard. She is the heart of our family. Every child birth Aunt Darlene was involved. She stayed awake with me through the entire labor while everyone else slept. If everyone was as loving and giving as she the world would be a better place. I love you Aunt Darlene. I will never forget your love and kindness.
