Darlene Hanby's Obituary
Darlene Hanby, 80, was born on September 14, 1936 to Melvin and Mildred Tibbetts in Little Rock, Washington and passed away peacefully in her home on April 12, 2017 in Tacoma, Washington.
Darlene loved gardening and being in her yard, enjoying the numerous flowers she had planted. She enjoyed her friends and thought highly of them. Darlene collected many, many crystals and educated herself of their healing benefits and energy. She was a good mom and enjoyed being a mother. She once said she thought that one of her best accomplishments was having children. Darlene spent her working years as an apartment manager, which she loved because she was able to spend time with people she enjoyed.
Darlene was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Wilbur James Hanby and brother William Tibbetts. She is survived by her children, Richard Branam, Randy Hanby, Rocky Hanby and Geri Hanby; grandchildren, Jesse James Hanby, Joyce Barradale, Jammie Barradale, Jayden Hanby, Austin Hanby and Megan; Great grandchildren, Evan Barradale, Kyliegh Barradale, Lucy Moon Barradale, Henry Coach Barradale, Tristen Hanby, Chase Hanby; brother Melvin Tibbetts and sister "Ronnie" Ravonda Hazzard.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 28th at 3pm in the Willow Room located in the Celebration of Life Center at Mountain View Funeral Home.
