Darlene Viola Farrar's Obituary
Darlene Farrar passed away February 4 in Tacoma, WA.
Darlene was born April, 4 1939 to Margaret (Blakely) and George McDonald, the youngest of the three children, in Los Angeles. She was raised on Commencement Bay and graduated from Stadium in 1957. She married Dean Farrar on November 23, 1960. She drove school bus in NE Tacoma for thirty plus years. She was a dedicated mom, foster mom, and grandma.
Darlene is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, husband Dean, and daughter Janis.
Darlene is survived by her sons Darren and David (Heather), grandchildren Chris (Angie), Ryan (Katie), Chelsea (Jayde), Nykki, great-grand daughters Ava, Bella, and Elli.
Public viewing will be held on Friday February 10, 2017 from 1:00-7:00 at Mountain View Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday February 11, 2017 in the Aspen Chapel at 10:00 am followed by a graveside service at Mountain View Funeral Home in Lakewood, WA.
Reception to follow at the Farrar home.
