On April 3rd, 2023, Dareld Wayne Jolliffe Sr., of Tacoma, Washington passed away with his family by his side. He recently celebrated his 85th Birthday in October. Dareld was born and raised in Marysville California, where he met and married the love of his life Shirley Jean Jolliffe. They enjoyed 59 beautiful years together until she preceded him in 2021. The couple settled in Tacoma, Washington where they raised their 3 children Sheri Heistand- husband Paul , Dareld W Jolliffe jr. - wife Betsy, and he was preceded in death by his Son Douglas Jolliffe- wife Kris Dareld enjoyed all 7 of his grandchildren Megan, Karen, Paul Joseph, Dareld III, Lindsey, Krystal and Kaitlyn. He also adored his 4 great grandchildren Winry, Lily, Daniel and Seeley. Dareld was raised with six siblings Darleene, Gene, and preceding him in death Elwin, Dawn, and Bob. He Served in the United States Airforce followed by 36 years serving his country through the civil service. For many years Dareld enjoyed being a member of the Sons of Norway and Masons. As a active member of the community Dareld found great success while coaching various sports teams in the city of Tacoma. He often enjoyed going on walks around the neighborhood, seeing movies with his grandkids, and going out to his favorite lunch spot with Shirley. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
