Dare A. DrazulDare Â"CharlieÂ" Drazul was born April 21, 1911, in Valsanmarina, Austria. Passed away December 16, 2002, in OÂ'Fallon, Illinois. A worldwide traveler as a Merchant Mariner and a long time resident of New York City, he moved to Tacoma in 1979 and left for Illinois upon the death of his beloved wife, Mira nee Opatich. Charlie enjoyed culinary arts, playing cards, tending his rose garden, and most of all the time he spent with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Mira Drazul, in 1994; sister, Tonca, Charlie is survived by his daughter, Myra, and her husband, Edward Koszykowski; grandson, Stash; granddaughters, Karla and Majka; and great granddaughter, Gia Botindari.A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, December 21, 2002, at the Mountain View Garden Chapel. Visitation will be held from 11 AM until 9 PM today. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Child Center of Our Lady, 7900 Natural Bridge Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63121.
