Danielle Denise Morton's Obituary
Danielle Denise Morton
Sunrise March 3,1976 - Sunset June 15, 2025
Danielle Denise, or “Danny Boy” as she was affectionately known passed away June 15, 2025, at age 49. Danielle was born in Columbus Ohio on March 3, 1976, to Bertha Ann and Charles Lesley Morton Jr. She moved from Opa-locka, Florida to Washington State with her family where she attended elementary, middle school and graduated from Foss High School. Danielle later started her own family and had the first of her four children, with three to follow, one of which was lost due to complications. Danielle also attended Tacoma Community College completing general studies while she determined her major, she was very excited to be taking steps toward a better future.
Danielle was a very caring, joyful, and youthfully spirited person. Danielle lived her life her way. She laughed, she cried, she hollered, she fought back and didn’t except ill treatment from anyone. She loved her family and friends and would defend them with everything she had, should the need arise. Everyone that knew Danielle and became friends understood that she would do just about anything for them. From extending her home, a meal, conversation, to whatever she could do to help. The love she expressed for her mother and siblings was loud! That sentiment was only maximized by the unconditional love she felt for her children and grandchildren. There was never a conversation she had where her children were not a topic no matter what the situation, she stayed positive, provided support, and sought the best outcome. Of course, like any doting grandparent, her grandchildren became the apple of her eye or as she would say her hearts. Danielle was about God, her family, keeping everyone together, and sticking together no matter what the trial.
Danielle was preceded in death by her brother Duane Lamar Morton, her father Charles Lesley Morton Jr, and a daughter baby Naleyah. Danielle leaves to cherish her memory three children Ajjahnae (TaVaughn), Quante (Lexus), and Trequan. Five grandchildren Lerico, Ariyah, Karma, Jameze, and Gianna. Her mother Ms. Bertha Ann, two siblings, Greg and Angela Morton, two nieces Sunny and Arianna, one nephew Adarious, and a host of extended family and friends. Danielles’ laughter, joy, and energy will be greatly missed. Her contributions to the lives she touched throughout her journey will continue in the hearts of those who love her.
A Celebration of Life will be held and is Private
