Daniel Thompson's Obituary
Dan Thompson was born in Tacoma
on July 13, 1951 and passed away on
April 27, 2015 after a brief illness. He
graduated from Lincoln High School
in 1969. He also attended Central
Washington College and Pacific Lutheran
University. He worked his entire life as a
Manager for several restaurants in the
Tacoma-Seattle area. He spent the last
9-10 years as Manager for Applebees in
Yakima. Dan is preceded in death by his
parents Neven and Katherine Thompson
and survived by his brothers Tom (Sunny)
and Greg (Cathy). He was also a loving
uncle to Jeffrey, Jennifer and Jason and
leaves behind numerous cousins. A celebration
of Dan’s life will be held at 1:00pm on
Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Celebration of
Life Center at Mountain View Funeral Home
with a reception following. Dan’s family would
like to express their gratitude to his co-workers
at Applebees for the friendship and love they
extended to Dan during his years in Yakima.
Dan was truly a remarkable person and will be
missed by all who knew him.
