Daniel Lopez Olague's Obituary
Daniel Â"GrandpaÂ" Olague, 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 13th, 2005. Daniel was born on December 11th, 1918 in California. Dan loved his country and served it with pride. He was a veteran of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. He retired from the Army in 1968. Dan also worked at Good Samaritan hospital for 20 years.After retirement, Dan kept himself busy around the house with his gardening and many, many projects. But his most important project was loving and spending time with his nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.Dan is survived by his wife Michiko Â"KayÂ" of 53 years, brothers, Vince and Lee Olague of California, daughters, Jean (Stephen), Susan, Katherina (Darin), sons, Danny (Pam), Tony (Gina); grandchildren, Jake (Shay), Shaun, Jennifer (John), Geoffrey, Anthony, Danielle, Nick, Tyler and Alexa; and great grandchildren, Johnna, Hunter, and Jaylie.Services for Dan will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, August 19th in the Mountain View Valley Chapel, graveside following.
