Friend, confidante, poet, comedian, spiritual guide, all these things and so much more. We love you Dan. The world is a much better place because of your presence here.##imported-begin##Nancy & Bill Mills##imported-end##
Dear Dan,
Because we have shared an appreciation and enthusiasm for his writings-(you, fotunate man, enjoyed a personal friendship with him), I celebrate your life work and your transition to higher ground in the metaphoric terms of Marcus Bach's lovely story. Freed of the restrictive chrysalis- binding ever so tightly these past months- now you fly-the undiminished light reflected on your downy wings.
With love and admiration,
Mary##imported-begin##Mary and Bob Steenson##imported-end##
Dan & Fam,
Thanks so much for being the best uncle someone could ask for. You taught us all that love, friendship, fun, and laughter are what its all about. You will truly be missed and will live in the hearts of many forever as your spirit lives on.
"Roses are red, Violets are blue, your the most special person I ever knew."

Man of joyfulness
Shares his rhymes of love with us
We hold his heart,
forever.
We each spent many wonderful times with Dan that we will hold in our hearts. Much fun, much laughter, music, good food, conversation, and, of course, his delightful rhymes! We will miss Dan and, yes, we will miss his rhymes at our gatherings. They always gave us smiles and warmth.
We are there with you Barbara and with all the Koch kith and kin in spirit and love from our island corner.
Much love,
Ana & Lynn

I would like to express my sympathy to the family. Death is never an easy thing. I hope you are finding comfort in the time you spent with your dear loved one. Please find comfort in the hope expressed in the Bible at Revelation 21:3,4 where it tells us that mourning, pain, and death will be things of the past. I hope you find comfort in this hope. Feel free to email me to comment or if you have questions. Again, please accept my condolences.##imported-begin##Margaret##imported-end##
Upon reading the obituary in the newspaper, we both said, "We liked Dan very much, and now we know why."
Our best wishes to the family, especially Barbara, whom we have also known for many years.##imported-begin##Bill and Bobby Street##imported-end##
"Death is simply the letting go of the last illusion of form." No one would share this understanding better than a spiritual physicist like Dan Koch. His form is now freed LIGHT and LOVE - everywhere! Oh, Danny Boy, we love you so.##imported-begin##Elizabeth Miller##imported-end##
When my mother's time was close from form to consciousness she said she was ready for her next great adventure. It was not to later that I learned that was what Peter Pan said about death.
I know this is a sad time....I also know Dan is off onto his next great adventure.....he is with me in Fl right now as he is with all of you.
Dan was a gracious, loving gentleman, father, grandfather, husband and friend.
He was and is loved.
I am extremely grateful that he touched my life.##imported-begin##Ray Miller##imported-end##
So many fond memories of such a dear heart and loving soul. I will forever see him with a warm smile and an open heart, whether he was welcoming us into their home, celebrating a family member or reading his words of wit and wisdom. He will always be in our hearts.##imported-begin##Jane and John Wingfield##imported-end##
