Daniel H. Zelinsky's Obituary
Dan was born on February 2nd, 1940 in Tacoma and passed away on February 4th 2013, two days after his 73rd birthday. He was known for his construction and entrepreneurship abilities. He owned several businesses to include ownership in VanCourt and Matthew Door and Glass Co, Alpine Glass of Tacoma, Danny's Pub, Red Dog Store and DZ Construction.
He leaves behind a daughter Lonee Peschon (Philip), son Stephen Disharoon, grandchildren: Summer Radford ( Sean) and Dion Shumate, and one great-grandson, Dorian. He also leaves behind eight siblings, Mary Shuman and Penny Thompson (Al), Barb Aichele, Donald Zelinsky, Richard Zelinsky, Gwytha Camp, Andrea Lopossa, and Walter Zelinsky
. Dan loved boating, scuba diving on Puget Sound, and woodworking. He will be remembered for his strong spirit, his help in the Fircrest community, and keen eye for a good deal. Services will be held Sunday, February 10th at 11:00 a.m. at Mountain View Valley Chapel in Lakewood
