Dear Mrs. Johnston, Debbie and Delinda,
I have many fond memories of Brad and your family, growing up together on Rebecca Drive in the 60’s and 70Â’s. We all had a great time up there, especially for me, during the summers. We all played baseball, basketball and raced our wooden hydroplanes around the neighborhood. I remember checking our mailboxes everyday, to see if our sporting heros and sports teams had sent us some photos and team stickers. It was a special time. Brad, Brian, the Penrose boys, and all the rest of the gang—we were all there. They are memories I will treasure forever.
I have often seen BradÂ’s name on commercial real-estate signs around Tacoma, and had a good intention to call him and catch up. I am truly regretful that I did not take the opportunity and meet Brad again in our adult lives. From what I have heard and read about him, he was someone you could be very proud of in every way.
I am so sorry for your loss.##imported-begin##Jason Edwards##imported-end##
