Damari "Glewie Sparcc$" Lewis' Obituary
Damari Laquan Lewis was born October 8, 1990 in Tacoma, WA to Alexander Kitt and Shalon Lewis. Damari was raised in Tacoma, WA and for a short time in Federal Way. Damari attended Mark Twain Elementary School (Federal Way), Meeker Middle School, Giaudrone Middle School and went on to graduate from Foss High School in 2009. Damari also went on to further his education at Green River Community College and pursued his basketball dreams. While pursuing his basketball dreams, Damari discovered a newfound passion for music. Damari was a family man and family always came first. Damari always had a smile on his face and was always joking around. Damari was such a high-spirited and influential young man, he touched many lives and left an imprint on everyone he met.
Early on the morning of February 11, 2018, Damari was tragically taken from us, while doing what he loved to do, performing and entertaining. He was preceded by James E. Lewis Sr., Wanda M. Lewis, Coty Lewis and Grandpa Graves. He is survived by his father Alexander (Adrea) Kitt, his mother Shalon Lewis (Dundray Calhoun), his grandmother Barbara, his siblings Jamal, Alton, Hassan, Ayanna, Alexander Jr., Shenise, Devante and Araya. His aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.
