Dale L. Jones' Obituary
Dale L. Jones Son of Dale T. Jones and Veola H. Jones, born February 15, 1925, passed away peacefully at his home in Tacoma on March 22, 2008 at the age of 83. A graduate of Clover Park High School, Dale served proudly aboard the USS Saratoga during World War II. A lifelong resident of Tacoma, Washington and member of the Parkland Masonic Lodge, Dale retired in 1986 after 30 years at the Chevron bulk oil distribution center in Tacoma. Dale was preceded in death by his wife of 29 years Doris M. Jones and his oldest son Kenneth D. Jones. He is survived by his other 3 children: Richard G. Jones of Kirkland, Nancy L. Sage of Oak Harbor, and Patti A. Cardin of Adna. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren: Will Jones, April Clifton, Matthew Jones, Brandon Jones, Kathy Shairrick, Kim Clark, Kathryn Cardin, Ben Cardin and 13 great grandchildren. Dad/Grandpa, you will be missed by us all. Services will be held at Mountain View Cemetery Garden Chapel in Lakewood on Saturday, March 29th at 10:00 am.
