Dale K. Willis' Obituary
Dale K. Willis Dale Willis, born in January, 1941, passed away at home peacefully on Thursday, Sept 13. He was surrounded by friends and family after his long and courageous fight against cancer.
Dale was born in Tacoma, and upon graduation from the University of Puget Sound he worked with his father and brother in the food business for years before beginning a career in the mortgage/banking business.
He gathered hundreds of friends along the way throughout his career, through his love of boating, golfing, and the time he spent at his winter home in Arizona. Dale will be remembered for his commitment to friends, his ready smile, and ability put humor into every situation.
Dale is survived by his wife Beth, brother Wayne (Helen), nephew David, and nieces Gretchen Hogan and Sandy Dawson and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Myrtle Willis, and sister Linda, who is survived by her son Darin.
Services will be held at the Little Church on the Prairie, 6310 Motor Ave. SW, Lakewood, on Thursday, Sept 20, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Friends of Seychelles Foundation, 4114 37th Ave. S, Seattle, 98118, or the Little Church on the Prairie Foundation Endowment Fund.
