I am very sorry to hear of Dale passing. He was a classmate of mine,we went all through school together. Dale was always a delight to be around, and always had a smile, and a giggle.
Years later, after not seeing Dale for some 15 years or so, I ran into him. He was still smiling, and still had that giggle. Dale was a great mentor to me, regarding being an Operator. He always had a kind word, and was well respected on the job. Dale will most certainly be missed, and it is sad in my heart that I won't be seeing him,and hear him say "Hi Vic how's it going? This is very sad!
I have a funny memory of Dale. When we were in 5th grade,he and another student chased me down,I ran as fast as I could, but they caught me.They both grabed an arm and......each kissed me on my cheek, and promptly ran away.As I said I ran into Dale years later and brought that up laughingly,We laughed about it, and then Dale said I'm sorry Vic. I told him that was one of the best memories I had in grade school. He said I wouldn't want you to be mad at me.
Dale....Who could ever not Love him? I wish the family the best and hope Dale did not suffer! Like I said I am sad in my heart, and tears are forming as I write. So long Dale I only wish I could of kissed you goodbye on the cheek!
