Dale Amos Brintley, Jr.'s Obituary
Dale (Junior), 29, cherished son, brother, and uncle, was suddenly and unexpectedly taken from us on Sat., Aug. 2, 2008. The eldest of three children, Dale Jr. was born on June 23, 1979 in Manhattan, KS. He is survived by his parents, Dale Sr. and Hu Im Brintley, brother Young Lee Brintley, sister Dorea Timali, and her children Faatui, Foiatu, and Tinei. Dale graduated from Mount Tahoma HS in 1997. He served in the Air Force Reserves for seven years while attending Evergreen College in Auburn. A Tae Kwon Do student turned instructor who then became part-owner of his school in University Place, he was a second-degree black belt. He was a mentor to his students, teaching them self-defense, discipline, and respect. An active member of his church's youth group, he always made time for his niece and nephews. He was a trusted friend, advisor, and counselor. He will be remembered mostly for his smile. His laugh will echo in our hearts forever. We Love You June.
