Cyril William Davis' Obituary
Cyril William ,"Cy," Davis was born in Aberdare, Wales on March 6, 1917 and passed away May 22, 2007, in Tacoma, WA. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Winnafred, his beloved wife Mary and daughter-in-law Marion Gennai.Survivors include son Mike Davis, daughter Delores Gates (Ron), and son Frank Gennai. Also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, close friends Dick & Doreen Johnson and numerous friends.,"Cy," served in the U. S. Army during WWII as a medic; he then worked for Tacoma City Light as a Lineman for 28 years. He was a long-time member of the Tacoma Elks Lodge #174. In his younger years he was an avid mountaineer and involved with Mountain Rescue. Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm, Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at the Mountain View Funeral Home Garden Chapel.
