Cynthia “Cindy” Dawn Stracke, of Fife, Washington, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026. Born on July 11, 1957, in Seattle, WA, Cindy was the first of three children born to Jackie and Dixie Hatfield. She grew up in the Federal Way and Fife community and graduated from Fife High School, where she formed many lifelong friendships.
Cindy married the love of her life, Richard “Rick” Stracke in 1981, and together they built a warm and loving home. A devoted wife and mother, Cindy dedicated herself to raising their two children and creating a household filled with laughter and fun. Her natural eye for beauty and talent for interior design were evident in every space she touched—her home, the family lake house, and the homes of friends and relatives she joyfully helped to decorate.
Her favorite place in the world was the lake house, where she welcomed family and friends with generosity and enthusiasm. Cindy had a gift for bringing people together, and her gatherings were filled with laughter and heartfelt connection. Light‑hearted and fun‑loving, she had a joyful spirit that made others feel at ease, and her laughter was a constant presence in the lives of those who loved her.
Among her greatest joys were her grandchildren, Audrey and Emmett. She doted on them endlessly, and they brought immeasurable happiness and pride into her life.
Cindy is survived by her mother, Dixie Hatfield of Fife, WA; her daughter, Tiffany (Kellen) Huebner of Spokane, WA; her grandchildren, Audrey and Emmett Huebner of Spokane, WA; and her brothers, Brett (Julie) Hatfield of Fife, WA, and Brian (Kim) Hatfield of Edgewood, WA. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack, her beloved husband, Rick, and her son, Brandon.
Cindy will be remembered for her humor, creativity, and the joy she brought to everyone around her. Her laughter, her love, and her beautiful spirit will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
