Cynthia L. Seek's Obituary
Cynthia Louise Seek
In loving memory of Cynthia Louise Seek; Beloved mother and wife Cynthia Seek of Olympia, WA passed away quietly at home in her sleep July 14, 2011. She leaves behind her husband John of 24 years, son Ryan, along with her brothers, David and Troy, sisters-in-law Sonia and Jillian Miller, numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Cynthia was born in Tacoma, WA on 1 May 1965, to Robert and Mary Miller. She lived in the Tacoma area for 21 years before marrying and then spending the next 22 years as a military spouse, living in Germany and numerous other locations around the US. She would eventually settle in Olympia in 1997, where she would live until her passing. The majority of her career she worked as a school administrator and thoroughly enjoyed working with children. She was most proud of her role as a stay-at-home mom, and spent most of her free time volunteering at St Michael's school and Parish. She always felt fortunate to have such wonderfully close friends and a loving family. Cynthia was an amazing woman, with a beautiful smile and incredibly huge heart, who will be missed by all. The family would like to thank Dr. Griffith, his wonderful staff at Surgical Assoc, the many wonderful nurses at St Peters Hospital who cared for her, doctors and nurses at Western Oncology and Radiation therapy, and the wonderful group at Providence Hospice. A memorial service will be held at St. Michael's church in Olympia on 25 July 2011 at 12:00. A reception will follow. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
