Curtis Lee Dudley's Obituary
Curtis Dudley I, passed from this life peacefully February 17th, 2005. He is reunited with his wife, Virginia, who preceded him in death March of 1999. Curtis was born in Wilmington, NC, October 28, 1930. He is survived by his children, Dwight Mack, Curtis Dudley II and Karen Dudley, his grandchildren and relatives in Washington and North Carolina. The family offers a special thanks to Sara Gordon who spent many hours at his side during his time of need.Curtis served his country and then continued to work Civil Service until his retirement. He worshipped at AME, where he maintained his relationship with the Lord and many friends as well.He was always an active man, even after retirement. He enjoyed long daily walks while speaking with folks and giving out dog biscuits along the way.Dad was a member of the Caballeros Club since his arrival in Tacoma. He was also an active member of the Masons and the Buffalo Soldiers participating in many events across the county raising awareness and contributions of his fellow brethren.Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 24, 2005 in the Mt. View Valley Chapel.
