Cristina Candado Cabantan's Obituary
Cristina was born in Cebu City, Philippines, on July 25, 1926. Cristina left us to be with her husband and God in heaven on January 16, 2006. She resided in University Place with her son and his family after her husband of 65 years passed away.Cristina spent her time enjoying her life with her husband Roque. Cristina filled her days attending exercise classes three days a week at the Lighthouse. She also enjoyed being a part of the Korean WomenÂ's Association and Barangay communities. Cristina was a devoted Catholic and member of St. Charles Borromeo Church and Couples for Christ.Cristina was a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband Roque Cabantan Sr.; brother-in-law Salvador Cabantan; and granddaughter Glindy Alo. She is survived by her children Aida Rosel (Toto), Becky Solis (Leo), Bebe Vowell (Ed), Roque Cabantan Jr. (Patty), and Mariza Brine (John), 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and many other family and friends.
