G. F. Turner
Mrs. Harrell was always a good friend / neighbor to me. She lived across the street from me in Monroe, LA. She really became friend/like a mother to me when my own mother died in 1993. She walked up to me while I was at our mailbox and told me that if there was anything she could do for me, let her know.
When my employer still mailed my pay to my house, she looked out for the mailman and accepted it for me until I could get home. That was the kind of person she was.
We talked a lot when I would come over and we would sit and watch Westerns on the weekend. She liked "Walker - Texas Ranger" - "Matlock" - and gospel music videos.
