Riego, Corazon's Obituary
Corazon Riego, who loved to be called "Mom" by her children and "Lola" by her grandchildren departed her loving family on Saturday, October 11, 2025.
Corazon was born in Olongapo City, Philippines on September 30, 1944. She was the youngest of eight siblings to Lorenzo and Loreta Ramirez.
Corazon was a loving Mother to her two beautiful daughters Joyce and Jenny. She raised her children with love, devotion and respect in many states but she ended up residing in Tacoma, Washington with her husband Jose Riego.
As a Registered Nurse, Corazon was known to be very empathetic and loved her job dearly.
She is survived by her oldest daughter Joyce and her four grandchildren Asiana, Brianna, Shayla and Dominic. Aside from the children she loved deeply, Corazon is survived by her loving husband Jose, older sister Onie, son- in- law Demetrius, best friend Yoly, and son- in- law Jeffrey.
Corazon was loved by many and still is. She always knew how to make people laugh and smile. She will be known for her greatest memories. May she rest in peace.
