Constance "Connie" G. Bleich's Obituary
Constance “Connie” G. Bleich, 90, passed away on February 5, 2015 in Washougal, WA. She was born on September 2, 1924 in Morton, WA to Frank and Blanche (Dodrill) Lowery.
Connie graduated from Morton High School. She went on to marry her high school sweetheart Fred in 1947. They build a life and family in Tacoma, WA. They loved to travel together going around the country to attend Hoo Hoo Conventions and to Germany to visit family. Connie worked many years for Schoenfield Furniture in their collections department. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred (1996), two brothers and one sister.
Connie was a member of the Fern Hill Methodist Church in Tacoma. She loved bowling, gardening, and strolling the neighborhood with good friends. After her stroke in 2002, Connie moved to Washougal to live with her daughter Katy. We will miss her loving heart, spunky attitude, the best oil pie crusts around, loganberry jelly, and the singing of her little diddies.
She is survived by: daughter Katy Pulsifer; son Eric (Retta) Bleich; grandchildren Jennifer (Mark) Edenholm, Kevin Bleich, Kristin Bleich, Nicholas Bleich, Andrew Bleich, Derek (Alicia) Pulsifer, Drew Pulsifer; great-grandchildren Kara, Emily, Matthew and Nicholas.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday February 20, 2015 at Mountain View Garden Chapel.
