Conrado C. Jasmin's Obituary
Conrado Cruz Jasmin, 78, of Tacoma, Washington passed away on August 29, 2018 in Tacoma surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Manila, Philippines, and immigrating to the US in 1966, he retired as Chief Maintenance Supervisor of Clover Park High School in 1999, after 33 years of dedicated service. Always eager to strengthen ties within his community and celebrate his culture, he was a member of the Filipino American League for many years.
Consistent with his passion for fixing things at work, he constantly served anyone in need around the community doing handy man projects. He loved maintaining his yard and home, creating a haven for his grandkids and family to enjoy one another. He adored his family, spending as much time to share the values he learned from his parents and grandparents into future generations.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Flor Aragon of Tacoma; brothers, Rolando of Tacoma, Crispolo, Felicisimo, and Gonzalo of the Philippines. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Busra; his sons, Radney of Chandler, AZ and Alan of Tacoma and their wives, Apichaya and Wendy; his grandchildren, Shayla and Landon; his sister, Illuminada of the Philippines; his brother, Felino and his wife Zenaida of Tacoma, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Aspen Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home & Memorial Park and viewings will be held on Sept 6-7 at 10am-8pm.
