Aunt Colleen, my aunt,
Well, this is the third time to write. At any family gathering, there Aunt Colleen would be with her
camera. She was always eager to take pictures but didn't want her picture taken. She would always try to hide from Kenneth so he couldn't
take her picture. He always managed
to take one of her. Kenneth liked to tease her. Up until the last time or two Aunt Colleen acknowledged his joking with her.
Aunt Colleen was a very kind and caring person. She has given all
of us one of her many things that she made. Along with her beautiful
voice, she was very talented person.
She and Papa both were very artistic
and creative. Both of them could make something useful out of just about anything.Aunt Colleen has made
purses, moccasins, bookmarks and many more items to share. Aunt Colleen taught me to roller skate when I was about 4 years old. When I was 14, came to spend summer with
Aunt Colleen, Papa and Nanny. What a great time I had. She let me driving a couple of times, took me
roller skating, to the drive-in
movie, to Busch's drive-in for snacks. That was one of my favorite
summer. We recorded singing on her wire recorder. She encouraged me to sing even though I didn't have
a good voice. My favorite things from Aunt Colleen are my Bible which she remade the cover and a bookmark. My most favorite thing that I have from her is a tape on which she recorded my Mom playing the piano. Also she sang Jesus
Loves Me for me. We will also remember my aunt. She was a very
special person and we loved her very
much.
Lots of love, hugs & kisses,
Ken and Sondra Rae

Aunt Colleen always sealed her letters with this type of letters.
See if you can figure them out
