Colleen D. Harper's Obituary
Colleen Harper, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother was welcomed into the presence of Jesus November 17, 2014. Mom was born February 13, 1943 to Robert and Loretta Melvard. She grew up in the Fern Hill area of Tacoma. It was there she met the love of her life, Jack Harper. They were married September 1, 1961 at St. Anns Church.
In 1966 Jack and Colleen moved to Puyallup. Colleen raised 5 children Teresa Douglas (John), Stephen (Cindy), Scott (Korinne), Cristeen (Grant Bassett), Victoria Sievers (Tim).
She attended All Saints Church. Her family and faith were what she loved most. She also had more friends than we can list, and she spent time with them at sun lakes, or the nearest casino.
Colleen is survived by her loving husband, children, 9 grandchildren with one on the way, and one great grandson. She is also survived by five brothers, two sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
