Clyde M. Quintana's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Clyde & Patricia Quintana
Clyde Martinez Quintana (91) passed away January 20, 2018 in Federal Way, Washington at home with the company of family members. Clyde passed away from complications associated with his heart.
He was born on May 16, 1926 in Pueblo, Colorado to Alexandro Quintana, and Agneda Martinez.
As a young man his brother (Joseph) and he moved to Benton City, Washington to work in the Hop fields. He fell in love, and married Patricia Sebree, and started a family.
Clyde found a better job at Handford Department of Energy where he remained for several years.
The family then moved to Auburn, Washington, and got a job at Boeing working on the GE Plane engines.
He then ventured on with a business partner to open up a sign shop business in Anchorage, Alaska. After several years, he later sold the sign shop business, and moved back to Washington State.
Clyde then landed a great job in which he loved working for the state at Washington State University in the sign shop department. He retired after a nice 16 year run June 30, 1989.
The fruits of retirement settle in very nice as he enjoyed sleeping in a bit, working around the house in Spokane, Washington, doing yard work, and volunteering. Clyde always enjoyed to keep active taking care of what needed to be done for family, and friends.
He is survived by his children, Daughters Chris, Roxanne, and Tammy, Sons Eugene, Bobbie, and Ross. 26 Grandchildren, and 27 Great Grandchildren.
A Memorial Service honoring the life of Clyde and his late wife Patricia "Patsy" Quintana will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, February, 2018 in the Garden Chapel.
