Clyde Fields' Obituary
Clyde Fields Joined his Heavenly Father on September 26, 2015. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 14, 1929 to Virgil and Patience (Kelley) Fulks. After moving to Columbus, Kansas and the death of his parents, he was raised by his aunt and uncle, Ella and Grover Fields, and would later change his name to theirs. After graduation from Columbus HS in 1948, he joined the Army. While in Yakima he met and married the love of his life, Leona Funkhouser, on August 25, 1951, and shared 64 years together. He supported his family over the years with many jobs, RCA on the Atlas missiles, PM Coal at North Fort Lewis, and as a realtor. Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother, and great-granddaughter McKenzie Kelley Fields. He is survived by his wife Leona, children Mary Monnett (Leo), David Fields (Troyanna), and Linda Swannack (Russell), 12 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
