Clifford Yarborough IV Passed from this life on Friday, July 27, 2007 off Long Beach Coast, while on a camping trip with friends. Clifford was born on September 22, 1989, in Tacoma , Washington to Clifford III and Sonja Yarborough, at Tacoma General Hospital. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jim and Mary Harrison. Clifford graduated from Spanaway Lakes High School in June 2007. Clifford was 17 years old and full of life and loved nature. He was close to his coaches, teachers, fellow workers and a leader on and off the basketball court. Clifford was a hard-charger and an all-around athlete who would take charge, while encouraging others to do their best. He lifted weights, played a variety of sports, swam at local pools and beaches whenever he could. Clifford was a typical high school student, full of life and easy going, but always dedicated to the task at hand. He worked at the local Albertsons store and planned to attend Pierce College in the fall to train to become an electrician. Clifford is survived by his loving parents Clifford III, Sonja and sister Janae, grandparents Suenell Lewis (Thomas) of Tacoma, Washington, Clifford Yarborough, Jr. (Ruth) of Chicago, Illinois; aunts Joanne Smith (Charles) of Chicago, Illinois; Kim Napier (Harvey, Sr.), Cynthia McCollum; uncles Jim and Keith Harrison, and numerous cousins, friends and a very special friend Brittanie Amsden. A celebration for Clifford Yarborough IV will be held Saturday August 4 from 6:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. at King Oscar Convention Center, 8822 South Hosmer, Tacoma, Washington 98444.
