Together Again
May 20, 1913 - June 27, 2008
Cliff, a longtime Tacoma area resident was born in Whitney, Idaho. Cliff came to Tacoma as a child in about 1918. He owned a grocery store in Tacoma where he ran the meat department and was the butcher; sold automobiles and owned a landscaping & bulldozing business until he retired in the early 70's. Cliff enjoyed the outdoors, working in the yard, camping and fishing. He and his wife Marge were married for 73 years. They loved to winter in Arizona and Texas. Cliff is survived by his brother, Paul Beckstead, 6 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his wife Marge and daughter Donna Matheson. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 followed by a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. at Mountain View Memorial Park.
