Clifford Edgar Bouchee's Obituary
Cliff, a lifetime resident of Tacoma passed away January 18, 2007, at the age of 86. He was born to Mabel and Peter Bouchee. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathrine and his son Mark. Cliff served 3 ½ years with the 301st Bombardment Wing, 419th Bombbardier Squadron in England, Italy, and North Africa as a crew chief on the B-17, during WWII. He spent 35 years at McChord AFB in charge of Aero Repair Reclamation, and 20 years volunteering at the McChord Air Museum restoring various aircraft including the B-18. He also worked 10 years at Jack Frost Air Conditioning. He was a member of the Tacoma Elks for 44 years and AERIE 2308 Puyallup Eagles for 15. Cliff will always be remembered as a gentleman and will be missed by all who knew him. Especially by his daughter Linda McLellan (Dave), grandchildren Scott McLellan (Jennifer), Jeannine Rakestraw (Brent), seven great-grandchildren, sister, Florence Grimit, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a long time companion, Dorthy Bartleme and her family. A celebration of his life will be held at Puyallup Eagles, 202 Â- 5th St. N.W. on Wed., January 31, 2007, at 1:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the McChord Air Museum Foundation, P.O. Box 4205, McChord AFB, WA. 98438-0205.
