Clifford Alfred Shriner's Obituary
After he served 2 years in the U.S. Navy, Cliff followed his father into the trucking business. His father started one of the first trucking companies in Tacoma. After retiring from Rucker Bros. he bought his own truck and later retired to live in the country with his wonderful wife, Ruby of 12 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all he loved his family, his home in the woods, and his garden where he also planted suckers for the grandkids.He was a very loving and caring man whose arms were open to anyone that walked into his life and will be remembered by all.He is survived by his wife, Ruby E. Shriner; sister, Mildred J. Johnston his children, Sindy White, Tim Shriner, Penny Mullen, Tina Norton, Fay Kitna, Bonnie Bingaman, Tim Kjos, Naomi Bostwick, Martha Rasey, and Becky Kjos and their spouses. Also included are many grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and a niece and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Kim Kjos.Services will be at 1 P.M., Thursday, September 11, 2003 at the Mt. View Garden Chapel.Donations may be made to Capital Medical Center, Oncology Department, Olympia.Â"And God has reserved for his children the priceless gift of eternal life; it is kept in Heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay.
