Claude L. Mitchell's Obituary
Claude L. Mitchell, 95, passed away June 23, 2013 in Puyallup, WA. He was born to Ben and Pearl (Connelly) Mitchell in Rover, Arkansas on June 16, 1918.
Claude served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II and the Korean conflict retiring as Chief Master Sergeant in 1962. He went on to work as the Traffic Engineer for Pierce County retiring in 1981. Claude’s favorite hobby was his family.
He is survived by his sons Gary (Terri) and Dennis (Lisa) Mitchell; grandchildren Kyle, Sean, Lisa, Emily and Kelly Mitchell; great-grandchildren Clara, James, Lucas Mitchell, Quinn and Henry Shanburn; sisters Marzelle Underwood, Annie Ake and Johnnie Rice.
Visitation will be from 8am to 11:15am, Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery. A Graveside service will follow the visitation at 11:30am.
