Clarence Jacobson's Obituary
Clarence "Jake" Jacobson
Together Again
Dad passed on July 30th, 2012 to be with our Mom again due to complications following a stroke. When Mom passed, after over 60 years of marriage, she left Dad heartbroken. Dad was born Aug. 3rd, 1925 in Eveleth, MN. He served in the Navy during WWII, and was a radarman on a PT boat in the South Pacific. Mom and Dad married on Apr. 16, 1949. Dad worked at the Tacoma Smelter before going to St. Regis / Simpson Tacoma Kraft as an electrician, and retired at age 62. He enjoyed gardening and feeding his tweety birds. Dad always had a large garden with all varieties of veggies, but his corn was famous around the neighborhood. Dad was preceded in death by our Mom, Dorothy, and middle son Doug. He is survived by two sons, Tom (Linda) and Britt (Tina), grandchildren Angela, Aaron, Emil, and Jason, and great-grandson Cooper. There will be a viewing on 10am - 9pm, Sunday, with a funeral service Monday at 11am in the Mountain View Garden Chapel.
Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
