Clara E. Mason's Obituary
Clara E. Mason, 87, passed away on November 18, 2014 in Tacoma, WA. She was born on January 12, 1927 in Truth and Consequence, New Mexico to Homer Carl and Marguerite Julia (Wright) Hopper.
She married Cecil M. Mason on March 2, 1946 in Courtside, Arizona. In her early years, she traveled where the work was harvesting fruit in New Mexico, Southern California and eventually settling in Tacoma in 1965. She loved caring for her family, crocheting and fishing with her husband.
Clara is survived by her daughters Julia (Earl) Higgins and Collette Meyers; sons James (Lorie) Mason and Cecil (Terrie) Mason; brother Ernest “Bud” W. (Donna) Hopper; sister Irma Hatten; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandhcildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, grandson, Son-in-law, two brothers and 4 sisters.
Funeral service will be held at 10am, Monday, November 24, 2014 at Mountain View Funeral Home’s Garden Chapel. Visitation will be at the chapel from 9am to 10am.
