WHEN SOMEONE LIKE KEITH COMES INTO YOUR LIKE IT HARD TO BELIEVE HIS TIME ON EARTH IS OVER. HE TAUGHT ME HOW TO GET TROUGH THE ROUGH TIMES AFTER MY MOM LILLIAM SHERRICK DIED IN 2007. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HIS KINDNESS AND HIS WORDS OF ACCEPTANCE. HE THOUGHT OUR CLASS HOW TO COPE WITH THE LOSS OF A LOVED ONE AND HOW LIFE GOSES ON EVEN IF THE ONES LEFT BEHIND ARE GRIEVING I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY HIS TIME WAS UP BUT, I GUESS GOD HAD A NEED FOR HIM AND HIS JOB HERE WAS DONE. Dear Beth; I am so sorry to have heard about the loss of Rev. Keith. I fondly remember when you and he came to Rhinebeck, and the wonderful church of people on Mill Street. Keith was a wonderful pastor, and strong in so many ways. His compassion and ability to counsel was very reassuring. May you find comfort in your faith, your wonderful sons and all of your extended family and friends. You are in my prayers.

I just arrived back from my vacation and was going thru my mail when I ran across a letter from Mt.View telling of Keiths passing.
I am shocked. So young, so soon,God knows why but we were Blessed.
Keith was a GENTLEMAN!!! He was so kind and compassionate.He was so helpful when I lost my best friend,my mother,3 years ago. I didn't know where or what to do I hurt so badly. Keith was always with kind and compassionate words.Thru his mother in St.Katherines Canada,I was able to find my Mothers step-sister.
I will be forever be thankful to Keith and could never forget such a gracious person.He helped so many of us..just making it to the next day.
To his Wife and family,His Mother and to all who loved him,we are so Blessed we were able to share him with you. He helped us along. WE know how and what you are going thru. I was in Keith's Wed evening grief group for over a year. This wonderful gentle man patiently accepted our tears and fears and eventually coaxed us back into life. A kinder gift has never been received. My heart hurts for the family that we,in the group, came to know through Keith's stories.

When your world is turned upside down from death, it was Keith's wisdom and caring that helped remind us that there is still good and beauty in the world. I am so sorry for your loss. My prayer is that you do not have to walk alone in your sadness.

I just found out about Keith's passing while catching up on reading the newspapers. So sorry that I missed his memorial service on the 18th. I'm sure that it was a wonderful celebration of his life.

Keith was a wonderful facilitator & support to his bereavement groups, and an incredible support to me after the loss of my mother. I pray for that same kind of support to his family during their time of bereavement. After the loss of my mother, someone once asked me, "If you believe in the resurrection, then why are you crying?" My answer was, "Because I miss her." Keith understood that when dealing with his groups. Each person was an individual to him, each of us handling our grief differently, and loved by God.
