Christopher Lee Wagner's Obituary
Christopher was born June 2nd, 1981 in Lakewood, Washington and passed away at home on July 1st, 2020. Growing up, Chris was always in tune with his sensitive side. He was a huge support to his mother, Jeannie and was an amazing brother and role model to me. Growing up Chris always had a great time going on adventures with our Uncle Todd and Aunt Barbara, learning about music and life lessons from our Uncle David and Aunt Wendy. He was always the right hand to our grandparents, Sam and Yuriko. It was amazing to meet and bond with our cousins, Kei and Erin. He fully accepted Adam as a brother without any question. Anything we did as a family always ended in laughter and love.
As he got older, he was always involved with his band and could shred a guitar like you couldn't believe. He was self taught and music came to him like second nature. He always had an old soul and could calm a room down with his presence. He was able to make life long friends with anyone he met. He was so creative and talented that anything he wanted to try, he mastered including working with resin and candle making. His candles smell amazing.
He was lost in the dark for a while, but he overcame and found his light. As we all know we must have both, not just one. He fully accepted who he was and worked on who he wanted to be.
Over the last year of his life, he grew in so many ways. He was striving to live a healthy life. He found peace in walking at Wapato Lake, creating music and learning about his spirituality. He opened himself up to everyone and gave a piece of his heart to anyone who needed it. He had a dark sense of humor that we all appreciated and had a love for horror, literature, and gaming. His interest in the supernatural was something we had in common and could talk about for hours. He was always the first person I would talk to after a crazy episode of Ghost Adventures.
He will be missed intensely by everyone who knew him. He was intelligent, kind, and full of life and happiness. He was a wonderful son, brother, nephew, and cousin. He helped shaped me into who I am and I will never forget the imprint that he left on my heart. He will always be my hero, all of us were so proud of him and his accomplishments, and he will be missed every single day. Until we see you again, we love you Chris.
"Pleasure to me is wonder- the unexplored, the unexpected, the thing that is hidden and the changeless thing that lurks behind superficial
mutability. To trace the remote in the immediate; the eternal in the ephemeral; the past in the present; the infinite in the finite; these are
to me the springs of delight and beauty." H.P. Lovecraft
Memorial will be held at Mountain View Memorial 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Lakewood WA 98499. Date to be determined.
