Christopher "Sili" Silivelio's Obituary
Christopher Henry "Sili" Silivelio, born on October 19, 1979, at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 14, 2024, in Lakewood, Washington, at the home of his second family, the Anderson’s. He was 45 years old.
Christopher is survived by his parents, Eneliko and Temukisa Silivelio; his children, April Puni Silivelio and Gage Felise Silivelio; his beloved grandson, Azari Muaulu Silivelio; his sisters, Luina Opetaia-Tuiava (Colorado), Cindy Hunkin (Texas), Leafa Henderson (Oregon), Charlotte Mariano (Washington), and Jean Semaia (Texas); his brothers, Charles Silivelio and Christian Silivelio (both of Washington); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family members.
A man of adventure and curiosity, Christopher found joy in the great outdoors. He especially loved combat fishing throughout the waters of Washington. His passion for working on cars—particularly old-school models and low-rider trucks—was unmatched. Known for his curious nature, he often took things apart just to understand how they worked and would (mostly) put them back together again.
As the first-born grandson on his mother’s side of the family, Christopher was cherished and granted the freedom to explore life on his own terms. Though famously stubborn and occasionally living a nomadic lifestyle, he spent nearly 20 years married. His adventurous spirit, unique personality, and infectious laugh will leave an everlasting mark on all who knew him.
Christopher’s memory will forever bring comfort to those who loved him. May he rest in peace.
