Christopher Sean Birge
11/24/1972 – 9/23/23
Chris our amazing son, brother, nephew, and friend was selected to be with our lord sooner than expected. He leaves behind his mother Vicki Birge (Harris), brothers Andre’, and Damion, little sister Alexis Harris, Anthony Salvador his cousin who was like a brother, his favorite aunt Toni Hill, many cherished relatives, and a host of treasured lifelong friends.
Chris was a proud member of the Shasta tribe and enjoyed visiting our ancestral land in California. He had an affinity with animals that could not be quantified. His favorite animals were cats which is why he volunteered at Big Cat Rescue in Florida. His love for animals led him to obtain a B.A. in Zoology. Chris always had a thirst for knowledge and self-improvement which he showed in his love for reading and getting Sysco systems certified.
Chris could be reserved but when he opened up, he was such a joy to be around. Words cannot express how much of a kind, caring, and thoughtful person he was. Those who got to know him were truly blessed.
A celebration of life will be held at Mountain View in Lakewood on Sunday 10/1/23 between 1pm -4pm. In lieu of flowers we ask for a donation to the Tacoma Humane Society.
