Christine Minnie Boyd-ChristianChristine M. Boyd-Christian, 10th of 12 children, born to Henry Boyd and Hester Franklin Boyd (deceased) in Springfield, TN, April 29, 1924, departed this life August 19th, 2002. She fought a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves behind many that will miss her, husband George A. Christian of 36 years, four children - 2 daughters Gerre Wright (Steven) of Broken Bow, OK, & Sandra Parker (Ernest) of Tampa, FL; 2 sons - Scott Alan (Irmalinda) of Mesa, AZ, and Gregory Allen of Spanaway, WA; 2 sisters - Cora Boyd Wilson of Woodbridge, VA, and Anna Boyd McGhee of Jeffersonville, IN; 6 granddaughters - Christine LaVera, Ashlee A., Aumbrea V., Bryanna A., CaSandra S., and Rayna A.; many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends that will miss her dearly. A memorial service will be held at 11am, Saturday, August 24, 2002, at the Mt. View Celebration of Life Center, Aspen Chapel.
