Christine (Kylle) JangardChristine passed peacefully away to our Lord at the age of 90 on February 27, 2003. Born in Tacoma on April 15, 1912, she lived here her entire life. Christine in her early years was active in Campfire Girls, Eastern Star, Danish Sisterhood and United (Gethsemane) Lutheran Church. She loved ceramics, painting, craftworks and especially loved traveling to see her (late) fisherman husband Colbein when he fished in Oregon and California.She is survived by her 4 children, Al (Jan) of Olympia, Joann (Russ) Bucklin of Seattle, Keith and Kent (Bridget) of Tacoma, 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. As a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother she will be dearly missed by her family and friends.The family will always be grateful to the staff of the Tacoma Lutheran Home, Alpine Unit (AlzheimerÂ's Care) for their loving and wonderful care of our mother.Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 1, 2003 at 10:30 A.M. at Mountain View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Tacoma Lutheran Home.
